# GOLD MINE

Do you believe in Bitcoin as the digital gold of this era, or do you prefer the security of XAUT, real gold-backed tokens? Well, Gold Mine has both!

**Introduction**

Welcome to the Gold Rush.

GoldMine is a gamified DeFi platform on Ethereum that brings the spirit of the Wild West gold rushes to crypto. It combines high-yield mining, staking, and weekly auctions with a sustainable, protocol-owned revenue engine.

At its core, GoldMine is designed to be simple to enter yet deep in mechanics. Whether you’re a casual miner or a dedicated long-term participant, the protocol rewards activity, commitment, and strategic play.

**Key Features**

* **GOLD Mining** — Mint GOLD with ETH (or ETH + Diamonds). Tokens unlock linearly over a 100-day period at 1% per day. Early claims are possible with forfeiture of unvested tokens.
* **Fort Knox Staking** — Stake your GOLD to earn wBTC rewards with flexible lock periods up to 2,888 days (\~7.9 years). The powerful Melt Bonus allows you to burn up to 3× your staked GOLD to reach up to a 1,000% total share multiplier when combined with max term length stakes.
* **Weekly Gold Rush Auctions** — Users forfeit their GOLD tokens each week to compete for XAUT payouts in the exciting, 7-day auctions.
* **Gold Certificates (Phase 2)** — More details will be coming soon in Phase 2.
* **Sustainable Revenue Engine** (Phase 2) — More details will be coming soon in Phase 2.

GoldMine stands apart through strong deflationary mechanics built into the Staking Component and a focus on long-term protocol health over short-term hype.

The gold rush has begun. **Will you stake your claim?**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://richs-crypto-projects.gitbook.io/goldmine/gold-mine.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
